The online shop of the Plymouth Local Foods project will next go live to pre-order foods on March 11th for pick up at the March 18 Winter Market at Plimoth Plantation 3pm-7pm! Food ordering may be done till Tuesday March 16th at 10pm. In the meantime, all products will appear SOLD OUT until fresh offerings are posted. If you would like to receive notice of the monthly
specials offered by the farmers and cooks, simply log in and make
yourself an account. Along with an email notice to say the shop is live
you will also be among the first to know of the month's special
offerings, some of which will only be available to account
holders.
After you have reserved your foods and paid online with credit card or paypal please be sure to come to the Plantation sometime between 3pm and 7pm on Thursday March 18 to pick up your food. You are welcome to send a friend or neighbor. Food not picked up will be sent to a local woman's shelter so you can know it will not be wasted. Be sure to bring a bag for your foods and if you have a lot to carry we will have hands available to help you to your car.
Remember...there will be coolers available to store your foods while you enjoy the film or forum and shopping. There will be tables set to eat at as well.
The Plymouth Local Foods Winter Market will be held indoors throughout the winter months in collaboration with Plimoth Plantation and our local farmers and foodmakers from the Plymouth Farmers' Market and beyond. Winter Market will be held the third Thursday of each month December thru May in the later afternoon so you may continue to come from work to find the freshest local foods available all winter long and you may continue to pre-order and reserve online for your convenience, before the market is held each month.This part of the Local Foods project has been inspired by YOU! Thanks for your support and appreciation.
